| Ian Hill, Summer Art Camp 2007 Ian is a local artist and Noe Valley resident. From and early age Ian was drawn to art. His father was a landscape painter in a wheelchair who painted using his mouth. The tenacious quality in his father fuels Ian's ambitions as an artist today. He believes that despite someone's abilities or handicaps (we all have them) everyone has the innate need to be recorded and expressed. Ian's work can be seen in galleries, on clothes, shoes, accessories, books and magazines. He is in the process of completing his first children's book by the fall and a line of toys will be out in the winter. He wants to inspire chidren to use their voice, their imagination and to watch less TV. Ian is an alumnus of the Academy of Art University with a BFA in illustration. Visit Ian's Website |
